Asylum and Immigration

We appreciate how important an immigration status is, whether it’s for you or your loved ones. We can advise on how changes to your employment and family life can impact on your status in England & Wales, as well as explaining the impact of any criminal convictions.

Brexit has raised concerns for both EEA and EU nationals and we can advise you on your options to remain in the country, take British nationality or look at human rights legislation in applicable circumstances.

We have fluent speakers of both Urdu and Hindi in our team so you can hear about the law in your own language.

Our team can provide advice on:

  • Obtaining Leave to Remain applications
  • Human Rights issues
  • Student Visa applications
  • Overseas applications for spouses to join/enter the UK
  • EEA Applications for European Nationals

We can also support you and offer representation for a hearing regarding any of these matters.

For the following related matters, please contact our Dispute Resolution team:

  • Representation at Bail Applications
  • Judicial Review of an immigration decision
  • Dismissal from your employment because of your nationality or immigration status

A guide to our Fees

Where possible, we like to offer fixed costs so our clients have certainty on the costs involved before instructing us.  We offer the following Immigration Services at the fixed costs stated below:

  • Leave to remain £1,200 + VAT per applicant
  • leave to enter applications £1,200 + VAT per applicant
  • EEA applications – £950+ VAT per applicant

In addition to the above, you will be required to pay the Home Office fees which depend on your application route. Please see the link below which will provide a full breakdown of the current fees.

You will also be required to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge. This sum varies between £500 – £1,000 depending on your application and will allow you access to the NHS facilities and the ability to register with a medical practice. You will still have to pay for your prescriptions in the usual circumstances.  Please see the following link for further information:

For all other Immigration Services, we will aim to agree fixed costs with you where possible.  Where the nature of the work required means we are unable to do this, our fees will be based on our standard hourly rates as follows:

  • Director – £240 + VAT
  • Associate – £220 + VAT
  • Solicitor – £200 + VAT
  • Trainee Solicitor – £160 + VAT
  • Paralegal – £150 + VAT

Upon instructing us, we will issue a Welcome Pack to you, which will include our Client Care Letter and Terms of Business.  Together, these documents form the contract which governs the entire relationship between you and us. They will expressly set out the agreed costs, disbursements, the timescales, the agreed scope of work and the team members acting on your matter.

If there is any difference between the fees stated above and those agreed in your Client Care Letter, the fees in your Client Care Letter will prevail.

Our Immigration Team is led by Andrew Bradley, a Director and he will be supported by other team members from time to time.
