27 Jul 2013 | Under Latest News | Posted by | 0 Comments

This July, friend of the firm Steve Coldicott of Fuel Recruitment is riding from London to Paris in aid of the charity Scope in just 24 hours!

The ride starts in South London at noon on the 6th July and arrives in Paris at noon on the 7th July, 280 miles later!

Steve needs to ride at an average of 11.6 miles per hour for a full day, with no time for sleep, and he will cycle need approx. 200 miles further than he has ever ridden before on any day. Steve’s pedals will turn 130,000 times!

Steve is undertaking the challenge in support of is Scope. Scope is a charity that helps people with disabilities and their families make the most of their lives and their vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.  This is a truly great charity and more than worthy cause for any donations you see fit to make.

We think this is a brave and fabulous effort for a great cause and we will be sponsoring Steve on the day. We will be publishing further updates on Steve’s training and the ride itself.

Steve can be sponsored through Virgin Money Giving page (http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SteveColdicott) and Steve would be truly grateful for any more donations, small or large.
