We are recruiting for the role of:

Conveyancing Assistant

We’re looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy Residential Conveyancing team!

Reporting to the Senior Conveyancing Executive, you’ll be expected to provide legal support to the team. This involves responsibility for:

  • All initial referral client contact.
  • Providing quotes.
  • File opening.
  • Initial steps in the legal process, including contract drafting and search ordering.

Skills and experience required for the role are:

  • Excellent client care and communication skills, both over the phone and face to face.
  • Strong IT skills as we work with case management software.
  • Organisational skills so you can plan your tasks and work within our regulatory requirements to strict deadlines.
  • An excellent attention to detail, as well as an ability to work under pressure.
  • To be a team player as well as working on your own initiative.

While not essential, preferred experience + skills include 1 to 2 years in an admin or legal support role, and experience of working with cloud case management systems.
