Bradley Haynes Law Achieves Worcestershire Works Well Level 2

We are really excited to announce that all our hard work has paid off, and we have been awarded Level 2 Accreditation with Worcestershire Works Well.  In order to achieve this, we had to meet the stringent requirements of the eight core standards within level 2, which were environment and culture, leadership and management, attendance management, health & safety, mental health and well-being, alcohol, smoking and substance misuse, healthy eating, physical activity and MSK health and one additional standard, men’s health.

We have been working with Worcestershire Works Well for over two years and were very pleased to achieve level 1 in December 2021 for raising awareness of the core well-being areas.  The standards required to achieve level 2 are much higher and build on the work we have already done for level 1! We were expected to embed the core standards into our management organisation which included, amongst other areas, ensuring that we had all the necessary health & well-being policies in place, a mechanism for review, an annual survey to ensure that our policies are working and a forum for making improvements.

I couldn’t have achieved this without the support of the other Directors and, in particular our CEO, Andrew Bradley, who is passionate about the well-being of our team.  I have also had brilliant support from our well-being champions from across the business who have taken the lead in raising awareness on a particular topic as part of our well-being programme. Each month we showcase one of the main well-being areas, through newsletters, breakfast events, lunchtime walks, etc. and these have all been very well-received and fun too! There are some brilliant resources on the WWW website that we have taken advantage of too.  These will continue for the foreseeable.

Team well-being is a fundamental part of our core values as a business and using the accreditation process has given us the tools to ensure that team well-being is at the forefront of everything we do.  We keep the accreditation for three years and will definitely continue with all the strategies we have put in place to support our team!  We are very proud of our achievement and what it says about the importance of team well-being within our business.
